Hi Chuck:

I would guess you are running a classic, correct? If you have the BT, press O chord, I chord, then P. If you have the Qwerty, press Function with O, Read with I, then P.

Subject: [Braillenote] battery gauge not accurate

I have been receiving the following message when checking the
power status on my Braillenote mPower: "AC adapter off. The battery is not critical. The battery gauge needs recalibrating and is not accurate enough to give a percentage reading." I have done a manual recalibration but this did not seem to resolve this problem. If the AC adapter is plugged in I get the same message except it says "AC adapter on ..." Does anyone have any ideas or previous experiences with this message and how to resolve it so I can get the percentage again. I have reviewed the manual and it mentions to let the battery go down to critical and then recharge. I haven't done this yet as I assumed the manual recalibration would do this.
