I don't know about dosage information, but Envision America makes the
ID Mate Omni bar code scanner which has approximately one million
commercial bar codes in its database. If the manufacturer includes
extra information, it speaks it.
The ID Mate Omni is self-contained.

where you'd find a database that connects barcodes to products and even
dosage information. I'd be really worried about advising dosage
information, by the way, just imagine if there was a mistake in the
