Hi Terry,
I would think a software program could be loaded on theBrailleNote and the
only item you would have to carry with you would be a small bar code scanner
for scanning the actual item. Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

Yes but the problem is its another gadget you need to carry and it is

I don't know about dosage information, but Envision America makes the ID
Mate Omni bar code scanner which has approximately one million
commercial bar codes in its database. If the manufacturer includes
extra information, it speaks it.
The ID Mate Omni is self-contained.
