Thanks, Vicki. So, to clarify, the upgrade can't just be downloaded
directly, the way I would download something directly to a PC. I can't hook
the mPower to the internet and download it and install it. I have to
download it to a card first. Well, that will let me out for a while. I'm
getting ready to move to California, and all my finances are aimed at that!
grin. But an SD card is on my list of future necessities. thanks for the
info.

Sherry

Hi Sherry,

Of course, grin, I'm not Rhonda. But, to answer your questions, you do need
to have the SD card for the mPower to perform any of the upgrades, an SD
card at least 64MB and no larger than 512MB. And, second, if memory serves,
the instructions in Jonathan's message of earlier today say in effect that
one should only download and install the patch if they are experiencing
problems with any of the issues mentioned in those being fixed.

Rhonda,

Well, I just read Jonathan's message to hold off, but for when we can
download the patch, I do not have an SD card as of yet. Can I simply
download directly to the mPower, as I would other things? Thanks.

And if I haven't noticed some of the problems do I need to download it? I
haven't tried downloading book share books, well, only one to try out the
unpacking process.

Sherry
