Hi Ray;
Why would this be necessary if you update your machine on a weekly or
even monthly basis. Then delete current data. I would start each month
with a clean slate, I mean with a new balance and go for the month. Save
it to the card once or twice with in a month and clean your slate.
Everything would be on the card. You could even back up the card to
another card, computer or emboss the imformation.
I just started doing my banking on the computer and hope to be able to
save the imfo to cf card and also emboss it when ever they get my new
machine running. I use an e-mail per month.

upgrade

Hi All:

While a financial management package wouldn't be a bad idea, I,
personally, would not use it. This is because since the Braille Note is
so portable, it could be stolen and there I am, all my financial data
stolen available for anyone savvy enough to get ahold of it and steal my
identity. If you have a PC or Laptop, you can easily create a check
register in MS Excel. We've done it and it works. Yes, I know, not
everyone has a PC or Laptop. My advice to anyone if the BN had a
financial management tool would be to be very very careful with your BN.
Perhaps, if the BN had a tool like this, it should also have a keyboard
lock feature that is password protected.

Thanks,
