Hello Ray,
This is a good thought,
But if I were to have a check registry program, or even better
yet, excel, I would do as I have done with my database program,
and that is store it on a compactflash card or sd card, so that I
can take the cards out when I am leaving the house and only put
them in when I need the program.
Hth,
Robert

Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Vitally important suggestion for the
next upgrade
Hi All:
While a financial management package wouldn't be a bad idea, I,
personally, would not use it. This is because since the Braille
Note is
so portable, it could be stolen and there I am, all my financial
data
stolen available for anyone savvy enough to get ahold of it and
steal my
identity. If you have a PC or Laptop, you can easily create a
check
register in MS Excel. We've done it and it works. Yes, I know,
not
everyone has a PC or Laptop. My advice to anyone if the BN had a
financial management tool would be to be very very careful with
your BN.
Perhaps, if the BN had a tool like this, it should also have a
keyboard
lock feature that is password protected.
Thanks,
