I am not sure now what mode it is on. I am not using wep but
want to. My laptop is not connected wirelessly. The cable that
came with the router one part is in my dsl modem and the other
part of the cable is in my laptop. My laptop is not wireless
right now. The settings on myt bn were all set right I don't
know how to find the wep key. I need to have my parents look for
it or something. How do you know what the router is set to?

Is it on mixed or B?
Do you have a computer connected to it and can the computer
connect
to the web without a problem?
Is "Use infrastructure mode" set to yes
Is "use shared authentication" set to no?
Are you using WEP for security? If so, did you get the number
entered the same on the BrailleNote.
802.1x authentication should be set to 0.
Obtain an IP address automatically should be set to yes.
Use a Proxy server should be set to no.
