Thanks Jonathan, and I look forward to go through those.

Hi Ann, I agree some additional tutorial material from us would be really
useful. However, in the mean time there is some superb third party stuff
out there. For those wanting to get to know the BrailleNote at a basic
level, I would highly recommend looking at the following excellent set of
tutorials.

RE: [Braillenote] Tutorial
Hi all,
The problem, Richard, is in the definition of tutorial V.S. the
definition of manual. The material that is currently on the
BrailleNote is a manual. It is not a tutorial. It outlines the
product, its features and its commands. However, it is not a guide
for learning the BN as it stands now. What K.C. wants is to have each
feature of the BrailleNote explained in small steps with an evaluative
tool added so that she can track her progress. <smile> This would
actually be of great help not only to those who are deaf-blind but to
others as well. Having taught a few students to use the BN recently,
I found myself in need of this type of aid for teaching. The menus of
the BN are intuitive for those of us who know computers, and they can
be learned easily by others, but if the process were formalized, it
might make learning easier for others.
It's all in how you define the words, Richard. What you mean when you
say tutorial may not be what I mean at all. So, all this hoodoo is
raging cuz folks haven't sat down and said, OK, let's define what
we're really talking about here.
<smiling>
