You are correct. Deane Jackson knew the nuts and bolts of the Braillenote and was always there with good technical information. Jonathan was the sales and marketing guy, and he did his job well, never saying anything, but saying it well. Now, we pretty much have zero interest from Humanware. Are we being punish? (smile)

It always seemed funny to me. What's the point in sponsoring your own list if you don't ever get in there with the users answering questions, etc? On the gw list, you see Doug and other gw employees up there. Same with K1000. Even on the packmate list, which isn't even sponsored by FS, you will see Brad davis and other fs employees helping users and answering their questions. I might as well sponsor the braille note list for all the help HW staff are on the list. Dean Jackson used to respond as did Jonathan, but Jonathan's messages usually stepped around the issues and were more sales and marketing oriented or giving some noncommittal answer. But then, they've lost Jonathan, so I'm not sure who's actually supposed to be responding. I'll ask a few questions, then: Who's moderating this list? Who's monitoring this list? and Who's in charge of the BrailleNote at the moment? Talk about testing - how does one become a beta tester? Yes, I know what beta testing involves - I've tested for other companies in the past, and would be very eager to help shape the BrailleNote in this way. Have any of you noticed that HW has not, to my knowledge, even let us know that they are working on the complications. It seams very strange that these complications were not caught and solved. I would rather wait for a good product than get something just dumped together and not thoroughly tested. ... ----- The remainder of this thread has been removed to avoid large message downloads ----- ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote __________ NOD32 1.1749 (20060911) Information __________ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.humanware.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
