Ann, what makes the RFB & D books different from the Bookshare books that
make them (as of now) not readable on the BN? Is there different versions of
DAISY?

Hi all,

K.C. the reason for putting a DAISY player in the BN is so that you
can read the DAISY books from Bookshare, also in future upgrades, you
may be able to read the RFB&D books as well as the new NLS audio
books, though this is not confirmed. It is, as I have said, the new
way of storing information for the blind, and is quite useful. That's
why it is in the BN. In addition, since Humanware is the premiere
manufacturer of DAISY players in the U.S. and Canada, it only makes
sense to port the technology to all its products.
