I don't know the answer to your question but have you tried just hooking
your bn up to the pc its self?

Hi all,
I want to use my BN as a braille display for my computer. I have so
questions.
1. My Serial port on my computer is a male, like the one on the BN. Is there
such a thing to change the cord that came with the BN to work with a 25
female serial port? (If I'm wrong about male/female, let me know)
2. Could I buy a serial to USB converter and my BN work as a braille
display?
3. If so, what kind should I look for?
