The first electronic Bible I used, I downloaded from the internet book by
book several years ago. It was the King James version. With a series of
cut and paste commands, I now have it formatted so that each verse is a
paragraph and the chapter and verse are written 1:1, for example. The book
name is at the top of each file. This is my favorite format and I used it
first on a competitor note taker when the BN was only a dream at best.
I also have the NIV and I don't remember where I got it, possibly
Bookshare. It seems that I had to divide it book by book. Now with these
two on compactflash, I am hoping to get a compactflash or SD card big
enough to hold a third version that is mp3 format.
There is an excellent bible reference on line. I use it frequently on my
computer, but have visited it only once in the 2 times I have been on line
with my new mPower. The URL is

It claims to have 50 versions and in 35 languages. There are commentaries
and such. There are options to listen to an audio version of some
translations.
A disapointment for me was that I could not access the link "Listen to the
Chapter" on my BN. It gave me the choice of downloading the file. I did
that and the media player did not seem to recognize it or play it. I would
be most appreciative if someone could find the answer to that problem for me.
