Hi Don, Joseph and others. Does this mean that a transplant unit's
Braille display may use more power because of the intensity level than
one of the newer displays?

Thanks.

HI,

The degree to which braille intensity works depends on which display you
have.

If you have a transplant unit or an older classic unit where the
touch-cursor keys are rubberized, you have an older display and the
intensity should make some difference.

If you have a later display which has the plastic touch-cursor keys you
have a newer display and the intensity setting does not seem to make
much if any difference.

At least, that's my experience.

Don
