Well, Terry, there is obviously more than one view on UEB. I've been reading the literary version of UEB regularly for the past year, and it's not hard to read at all. I've been reading braille for 60 years. At least in literary braille, tests at the National Braille Press suggest UEB might add 2 pages more for every 100 pages of braille. That, in my view, is not the exorbitant increase in space your note suggests. I am not familiar with the UEB mathematics code, and so do not comment on it, but the UEB code for literary or textbook braille is not the monster you suggest. Just how much experience with UEB have you had?
