HumanWare says that this because I use a debit card. However, logically, since the product isn't ready to ship, there was, frankly, no need for them to touch my funds whether or not I have a debit card or a credit card. I've been using a debit card exclusively since 2001, and this is the first and only instance that funds were taken from me by a company for a product that is not a shipping product as of yet. I'm going to stop complaining, I still think it's a unfortunate practice. I mean, I don't want to pay my October phone bill in August either!

I hope the company isn't going downhill. I'd definitely call them up and question them about it.
