Ottawa Canada Dear Nikki and list:
The Braille Revival League (BRL) has a mailing list and it is dedicated to discussions about Braille. It is virtually devoid of traffic but what there is usually is pretty good. To subscribe, send a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] You will be asked to confirm your subscription and when you do, you're on the list. You'll build reading speed through practice. The Hadley School also offers a course, Effective Braille, intended to increase your reading speed, comprehension and enjoyment. Their web site is: http://www.hadleyschool.edu Their 800 number is: Tel 800 323-4238 or 800 526-9909. I think. Their courses are usually pretty good and done through correspondence study. They don't offer courses on UEB or foreign language Braille, but offer various Braille reading and writing courses and an Essentials of Nemeth course. It is intended for persons planning to study math through them. Good luck. Brian Brian K.
