Hello, I am not using the braille note to send e-mail, but pressing cont++shift+r in outlook express does let me easily reply to you, and to the list at the same time. Probably means you'll get two messages from me, one to you, and one to the list, but it's easy enough to do.

However, the list signature at the bottom still says

Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
If your reply would be useful to the list, please send a
copy to the list as well.

A note about reply to all would be nice.

About returning, according to braille note standards described in the manuals, one would ideally sent the braille note for some repair or another 4 times in the span of 3 years. That's right, if I do as the manual suggests, and I doubt I will, you will sent your braille note

to clean the display at the one year mark.

to replace the battery at the 1.5 year mark.

again to clean the display at the 2 year mark.

and for battery replacement and cleaning at the 3 year mark.

This assumes you are a good little boy or girl, and you follow recommended guidelines for cleaning the display every year, and replace your battery every 18 months.

If it takes anywhere close to two months for you to send your unit in and get it back, this means your braille note is in transit and not being used for 8 months out of 26 months, which means about 70 percent productivity in braille note use.

If these numbers are wrong, and you are happy with the turn-around time, please speak up. I am trying to gage how much headache this note-taker is going to give me.

If it does take this long, let me know too, since I think it's information worth having.

Hello Antonio:
I'm not sure what you are using. Your question about replying to the list, if you are using a BT, when you press dots 26-chord, you should get "reply to the sender only?" You would press N. Then you get, "send original message?" You can either press Y or N. Your reply will go to the list. I believe Humanware has three people working in Tech support. They can be reached at 800-722-3393. I believe option five gets you to tech support. If you want to return it, make sure you can. I'm not sure what the policy is on that one.

;;> And the question is why did I get one.

I can still return it, only having it for 3 days, but with glitches in
simple word processing, and a very unfriendly file system, I wonder why.

Anyone please tell me how responsive is the braille note development team to
known usability problems and bugs, and support for new file formats.

How do I even contact the company for feedback?

My girlfriend mentioned to me how long it took for Humanware to support word
2003, and my research, not personal experience, tells me that customer
support and tech support is wanting at best.

Two months for a BN to get in and out of the shop is unacceptable.

Heck, even this list is cumbersome to use, since responding to a message
sends my reply to the original post, and not to the list.

Very indicative of the product in question.
