So if people aren't happy with the note takers, why not go with a
netbook? I use my PK strictly to read books, play games, save phone
numbers and the like. And then I have an Asus EEE which set me back about
350 bucks. I installed NVDA and voila; an accessible product for lessthan
500 bucks. I have access to a very stable Windows system, I can install
what I want and it's nice and small. I no longer need specialized hardware
and I'm compatible with everyone without jumping through hoops.
Don't get me wrong, I like my PK, but the market for us has changed
dramatically in the last few years and we can now use off-the-shelf
portable products and it doesn't cost your first born to purchase it.
Cheers,
Martin
