Hi sherry,
I get about eight to ten hours on my Apex. As everyone else
before me said the Apex has additional devices that can be turned
off to conserve battery life. hope this helps Cheers,
Scott

Subject: [Braillenote] Battery life of the Apex
I have just become the proud and happy owner of a BT Apex. I
have a question. I charged the battery completely, but it seems
to run down awfully quickly. Is it because the batteries are
replaceable? Is there anything I should be doing that I am not
doing?
I am new on this list, having been a member a long time ago when
I owned my Braillenote classic BT. I just love the Apex. thanks
so much for your help.
