Just a few comments... Sharon, you emphasize a point I made earlier. I
have tried modifying file extensions to try and coax a file not
typically recognized by my pc into downloading. The download worked,
but the file ended up damaged for some reason because of that change,
I believe. In the case of Verizon, which is my ISP, if there is an
unknown file extension being accessed, it is often treated as a virus
or other possible threat and is therefore not allowed to download;
this is from the mouth of one of the tech support people I spoke to a
while back regarding a similar issue.
Frank, I think your points are well directed and justifiable. I'm not
exactly the most pc-literate person on the planet, but I manage, and,
like any note taker, pc's have their faults. They're not perfect
either. All it would take is a little flexibility on the part of
Humanware, in the form of a couple of minutes to zip up this file. I
don't have an Apex, but am finding all of this helpful in preparing me
for what could be coming my way should I get one. I place the emphasis
on the word "should," as I feel that I shall be moving on if simple
problems can't even be addressed.

    Cheers,
    Amanda
