Joe, I've expressed my appreciation for the Apex many times on this list, and will continue to do so. And I have been working with Support on resolving this. But I brought it to the list because the support person told me that if enough people were having the problem, maybe they could change their minds about not having a .zip file. I figured the only way to find out was to ask. <smile>

As far as talking about "getting the cold shoulder", I believe I said I was trying not to assume it was lack of concern on Humanware's part, but that they were just busy trying to figure out a solution. I think what makes me feel a lack of concern is that the Humanware people used to be extremely active on the list, just like people on other support lists; but over the past few years, their participation has gotten less and less, even when people are frustrated. I just miss the days when they'd interact with us.

I mean, I just don't get it. Humanware just put out an excellent product to
help people interact with mainstream devices, and now, just because the
company has not gotten around to setting up the download specification in a
certain format, people are feeling cornered and complain of getting a cold
shoulder? I'm sure that if half the energy that went into writing the
backlash messages had gone into communicating with the company, the problem
would have been fixed by now. You're welcome, by the way, for taking the
time for at least trying to provide the update in a format some of you guys
can download. Complain all you want about unresponsive company
representatives, but to me this all smells like a lot of lack of
appreciation and too much exaggeration.
