Hello,
Just a thought, but have you tried removing and reseating the
battery? This may not solve your problem, but my Apex froze and
nothing worked until I contacted tech support and was advised to
remove the battery and then replace it, listening for the sound
you get with a reset. I didn't lose anything not even the
document on my SD card. I hope this works for you.

Hi,
Sounds like a hardware or power problem.
The Clean Reset is used to initialize ROM by removing programs.
To do
this, press DOTS 1-2-3 (FDS). But before you do this, try a
Hardware
Reset (press reset button for about five seconds until the beep
is
heard). The reasons are that you don't want to lose the programs
such
as GPS and Dictionary, and to see if hardware reset fixes
something.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi:
Thanks Alex. Sorry about that.
One time it crashed as I was reading a file in keyword. It
crashed many
times as I tried to restore my files planner and address book.
It crashed
as I was in file manager looking at my sd card. It works for
several
seconds then it crashes. Sometimes the speech crashes first
then the display
follow suit.
Tech support had me do hardware reset which is pressing the
reset button, I
do that all the time when it crashes. They also had me press
456 and reset.
What's a clean reset?
Thanks.

Hi,
Ask her a few things: What was she doing when the unit crashed,
if she has tried Clean Reset and so on.
Cheers,
Joseph

Hi List:
I sent my apex to Humanware to adjust the battery connection.
While the
Apex was there they updated my keysoft. I was happy about that.
However, I
received it back on Thursday and the Apex keeps crashing. I
reset it and it
crashes again. I have restored my files, but the planner or
address book. It
was unstable before the update, but now I can't even use it
because it
crashes constantly. I called tech support they had me do a
couple of resets,
but nothing's changed. And now the office is closed until
Monday.
Any advice?
I am think that I have to reinstall keysoft.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
