Hi,
I (and others) will test it using both BT and QT configurations and see what
happens.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] qwerty Apex and bt Apex

Hi,

I've made so many tests I can't remember the specific words I used.
However, try searching for a whole word and replacing it with another.
Search for format markers, like hard returns and page breaks. For example,
search for three hard returns and replace them with two. Or search for two
hard returns and replace them with one. The machine locks up every time I
try to search for format markers and replace them with other format markers,

even when my file type is ASCII text. In KeyWord braille, Keyword text,
doc, rtf, brf wp5 files, word searches will give me a message of "not
found," even when I know the word is there and I have checked to see if I
have spelled it correctly. The only file type that will work most of the
time is ASCII text. I never had this trouble with any qwerty BN before.

My default document type is ASCII text. The problem was brought home to me
when one of the list members posted about having the search-and-replace
problem with qwerty units and other file types. When I tried using other
file types, I discovered he/she was right. I don't remember when the post
was sent--it was so long ago.
