I've been trying to pair this for awhile now... I followed the directions on
the site, and Iphone sees my apex, but when I enter 4 zeros as it says to do
on the site, iphone says pairing is unsuccessful that it took too long...
Bluetooth is on with the apex as well...
Any suggestions.

The name change is for using the phone as a hotspot for web access. If
it is terminal functionality you're after, look at this page:

There is no need to change the name if you want to use the apex as a
terminal.
