Hi. I don't get lockups when downliading email, but I notice that at around 400
messages, things slow down damatically. You might not be experiencing a lockup,
but, rather, a tremendous slowdown. In my opinion, this really needs to be
looked at and fixed. I mentioned this during the 6.1.1 beta. I have the 48 mb
chip in my bn; so there is no reason why downloading after a certain number of
messages should slow down. I have plenty of room.
I wonder how I am going to get all of my email when I am at the ACB convention
this summer. Today, I needed to download 523 messages, but the bn was unable to
download all of them even though I have 27 mb free on the flash disk and over 7
mb free on the system disk.
I think this problem is as critical as the attachment problem and needs to be
corrected immediately. I shouldn't have to be told that I have to wait for the
next version to fix this problem nor the attachment sending problem. This and
the attachment problem should be addressed and an upgrade or fix put out within
a month's time or less.
I have plenty of memory; so that's the problem here?
