Hi everyone and thanks for the feedback on this issue. I would just like
to emphasis the very high risks of having unofficial batteries inserted
into your BrailleNote. Only last week, I was reading a news article about
exploding Nokia phones in Hong Kong. It turned out that all of them were
using non-Nokia batteries. In one case, the phone was working fine for a
while and then the guy using it noticed it was getting hot in his pocket.
It exploded in his hand as he took it out. We strongly urge you not to put
your BrailleNote at risk and not to invalidate any warrantee you may have.
Take a look at the section on battery care in your user guide. With due
care, your battery will last you a good while.

As for the issue of making the batteries easier to replace, this is
definitely something we'll keep in mind for any future hardware we might
release and I appreciate all the great feedback.
