Good morning Brew Crew, Having some strange symptoms that I am hoping I can get some guidance on - for a while now, my Brewt has had a regular 'pfft' sound that comes at 10 second intervals from the top right of the machine. It sounds like a steam release. Intermittently, after powering up the machine, I am seeing water underneath the right side on the counter.
The group head is also not very hot like it used to be, until after I pull the first shot of the day. I have waited until it reaches 95 degrees, ran some hot water thru it, and then pulled the first shot, but it used to be too hot to touch as the machine reached full temp. While doing a Cafiza cleaning, I also noticed the amount of water that was released after dropping the lever seemed comparatively small but increased as I went thru the pressure/release cycles. Fulfilling the statistics that most accidents happen at home, I slipped on frost and wet leaves resulting in a grade 3 AC separation in my left shoulder, so can't horse the machine around too much yet, but did want to get some input on where to start looking for anything that may be going wrong with this year old Brewtus II. If I am going to need to replace parts, I would prefer to do any retrofits that you may recommend while it is apart, including any improvements available from the new B-III unit. Thanks for any input and guidance. Steve --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
