I'm sure that they took it into consideration. The old Brewt had an
offset of around seven, but you can make sure but going into the
programing. Their is a recent post here that mentions a site detailing
it.

As for the finish they have improved it. From the pic at WLL they've
gotten rid of the big ugly red button and they seem to have replaced
the warming tray. The drip tray looks to be the same.
