I recently upgraded from a tanked 220v Brewtus II with a vibration
pump to a plumbed in rotary pump Brewtus III 220v.

Initially I was not sure if it was going to be worth the money and was
a bit hesitant but can honestly say that I would now be very hard
pressed to go back to the Brewtus II after using the new machine.

Main differences to me have been:

- Major convenience of having the Bretwus plumbed in
- Much quieter with the rotary pump, I don't wake the wife up anymore
making espresso's in the middle of the night :-)
- Pre-Infusion actually does something now
- Extraction starts MUCH quicker i.e. pressure ramps up much faster
- More steam, the pressure does not drop as quickly when steaming milk
and seems to remain higher, even when steaming large jugs. Not sure
about the reason for this

I cannot honestly say that I have been able to tast a significant
improvement in the cup. The standard Brewtus II was almost perfect in
any case and was pretty difficult to get a bad extraction from it. The
new machine is no different in this respect.

P.S. Anyone in South Africa want to buy a Brewtus II :-)
