posted this, the LCD displayed for about 5 minutes, then went blank
again, but the
temperature maintained about 202 degrees out of the grouphead, so I
think it is likely an controller internal connection for the display
as opposed to loose wiring elsewhere. In a couple of hours, I will
take the cover off to check it.
WRT the programming of the controller, is it only the temperature
that has to be changed or are there other parameters that have to be
changed? If so, do you have any info about which parameters need to be
reset other than the temperature, and to what values?
I am surprised that the cost of the part is so inexpensive, as I think
I recall someone having posted the cost through WLL of $180 or so. My
memory must not be correct, as that would be a rather extraordinary
markup...
