There is probably much less thermal variation than you think, it's just that now you can see what's going on. if you're willing to pull shots at the same point in the cycle every time, you'll probably find the quality of your shots improves slightly, it's only your belief that struggling, the machine is the same, we've just given you more information on how to use it. Your choice is to ignore it, to figure out how to use it to improve you experience, to replace the controller with a PID or to but a machine that already has a PID. And, you're quite welcome. Everyone I help makes me a bit better at understanding my own machine.
