I'd also want to know what steam tip you're using.  Some of the larger  
ones I've tried can easily overwhelm the boiler, with nothing wrong  
with the system.

To Barry's point, I forgot to purge my tip one day after steaming  
milk, and the next day not a single bit of steam could get through.  I  
was impressed that dried milk could be that strong.  Had to soak the  
tip in hot water and clean it out.
