A bit off topic but germain at this point is maintenance. We have discussed keeping the Brewtus and the steam wand clean. However, how many of us remember the grinders must be cleaned monthly. Cleaning should include running a half cup of Minute Rice through the grinder.Grind a bit of the rice and let it sit a while. The ground rice will absorb the old oils from the coffee. Then grind some more and let it sit. finally finish the grind. Vacuum out any remaining rice. Grind some coffee. Vacuum that out.Now notice the improvement in your shots. Minute Rice is recommend only because it is softer than raw rice and more absorbent.
