Yes, Dave is right about that. I spent $25 on a biglong wrench, and $45 on
the biggest channel-loks they make.Both tools I never needed for any other
use.
The boiler won't fit into a vice or anything reasonable - I checked.

 you need 2 people and  a VERY large pair of channelocks AND a very large
SOCKET wrench,  All of which will cost more than taking it to a competent
repair place.
