The only thing you need to do is mix enough tds water to ro water so the
steam boiler refill will work properly. I don't know the amount, but you can
search it out. Otherwise, your city water ppm of 139 isn't out of the
question. I think 50 to 80ppm is desireable, but not necessary.

Think more along the lines of what would make the coffee happy. There are
different opinions but that's what experimentation is for. Maybe start by
reading this FAQ:

Subject: Minimum water ppm for Brewtus to work properly

Hi everyone.

I have finally pulled the plug and ordered Brewtus III R & Vario.
This is my first post, but I have read a lots of other posts before making
the decision. Troll had similar dilemmas as me an his posts were very
helpful, so thank you Troll for asking (for me).

While waiting for delivery, there is one question that I could not find an
answer to...

I have RO filter and my water is almost like distilled water.
Incoming ppm is 139 (Montreal), outgoing is 6 ppm. I suppose I will have to
mix my water to get to the proper conductivity to make sensors in Brewtus
working properly.

Does anyone know what is minimum conductivity that makes Brewtus happy?

Thanks in advance.

Miroslav
