I agree that the coffee taste is an ultimate measure. Luckily, I have a benchmark - 1% latte to go in Cafe Myriade in Montreal, positively the best beverage I have ever tasted. It's just 10 minutes walk from my work, and I have the latte every morning. They use Mirage machine, Mazzer grinder, 49th Parallel Epic Espresso coffee.
