Thanks, I had found another site regarding the rebuild of an E61
grouphead (I had to sign up for a few things for a UK store, which
doesn't ship to the US so I feel a bit bad about it.) and well, I
think at this point it's going to be better for me to replace the
valves at this time.  Next time, i'll be sure to use a wrench with a
plastic coating to prevent scratching on parts that shouldn't be
scratched.
Any idea about the chrome plating?  I don't expect that to be a
problem with the mushroom, but couldn't find anything about the lack
of chrome being a problem.
