Is there an easy way to disconnect and power-down the Brewtus II's steam boiler without damage to the machine or impairment of the espresso-making function (meaning inadvertent problems with the brew boiler)? And if so, are there any other repercussions to be aware of?
I had posted directions for that a while back and the person told me it didn't work. I replied asking for more info but never heard back. My reading of the schematic indicates it should be no problem unless you try pulling multiple shots in a row and if that's the case, turning the steam pressure way down and insulating the steam boiler should accomplish almost as much savings and leave the machine possibly even better at pulling continuous shots.
