Thanks for responding, Todd. OK, maybe it´s overkill to start a new group.
I will probably delete it. Back to the issue, you are right, it is the
chrome elbow which lead to the drip tray. Is it possible to lead that water
back to the reservoir with a silicon tube? I just feel it is a waste,
especially for us constantly filling the small reservoir. I won´t complain
if it was dripping, but it is pouring LOTS of water out of it. I have a
500$ machine called G3 Ferrari, which produces better espresso than my
brand new Brewtus IV, so I am a bit disappointed to have less good taste
and crema with a machine 3 times as expensive. I have tried everything,
pre-infusion, different tampering and tampers, different grinding,
different temperatures, all the way from 85 celsius (the lowest) up to 105
(highest). I am still struggling to pull a better espresso than my older
much cheaper machine.
I want to return it of course, but I guess the reason is not good enough. I
have been a barista at several parties so I have decent experience. I know
for sure when I am tasting a proper espresso with proper crema. I have also
been doing some "cupping". Bottom line, I am not a rookie, with no
knowledge.
Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks.
