The Brewtus has proven its self to be one of the best brewing machines on the market. I am happy to assist but to do so I will need you to answer the few questions below: It is easy to get a soft flexible tube and run the return line to the reservoir. I am sure your supplier can get that for you. I don't know how your supplier set up the machine before shipment. First make sure that your brew pressure is set correctly, put in the back flush disc, raise the brew lever and watch the brew pressure gauge. It should go to 10 bar and stop, that will give you a brew pressure of 9 bar with a flow of about 2 ounces in 25 seconds. If the pressure is not 10 adjust the brew pressure to 10 using the adjustment screw behind the drip tray.
What country are you in and who did you purchase it from? Next ask your supplier what the offset is that they used in the programing. What grinder are you using? What are you using for coffee? Is it fresh? What is your shot timing? This may take a few e mails but we will get the issue figured out. The machine rocks when set up properly.
