Hi All I seem to have an intermittent problem on my Brewtus iii Leva Dual Boiler. When I turn the machine on from cold I have no read out from the PID, and no heating of the brew boiler. After about 10 mins (which I assume relates to the steam boiler heating up) the PID comes back to life and the brew boiler starts to heat up, after which it will continue to operate as normal.
I've opened the machine and checked the wiring for corrosion or signs of wear, but everything looks as it should do - wiring looks fine, spade connectors still shiny (also took these off and put them back on in case of a loose connection) The machine has worked perfectly for the past 3 years and has recently developed this fault. I've been told from the supplier I will probably need to replace the control unit, has anyone got any other suggestions as what the problem could be? thanks -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
