Glad we found the problem. You should probably replace that 100 ohm resistor when you get a chance. If you can't work with SMD stuff, just pull that one off and put a 1/2 or 1 watt one with wires in it's place. The pads are big enough it's shouldn't be to hard. I'm guessing it's 1/2 watt, but you might physically measure it and see what it likely is. I think it's a 1210 size but I don't usually work with stuff that big so I might be way off. And if you're not sure, more watts is safer.

And, it's not a bother.
