Hi all, I recently bought a Brewtus II that needed a new temp sensor, which took a couple weeks to get here from Furneco and I just recently installed. The machine is in really clean original condition inside and out. I decided to keep my same volume and grind settings, and swap my 21G espressoparts basket into the Brewtus PF. I thought I had choked the machine on the first shot, but then around the 12 second mark the shot glass started filling pretty quickly and the total result was a shot around 20 seconds. I then decided to put a blind basket in and watch the pressure, sure enough it takes about 11 seconds to get up to full pressure (reading 10.5 bar or so). The first 8-9 seconds it's sitting between 4-6 bar and the pump is a little quieter. The took the shower screen off to check, and it was quite clean.
In trying to research what can cause slow pump pressure to build, I'm only finding threads about the Brewtus IV. Any tips on where I should begin? I'll post a video soon too. Thanks!
