I recently saw a response for this somewhere else and As hard as I looked I just can't seem to find it. It was much better than I can do but I backflush every time I finish making a set of drinks. Might be every 2 shots. I don't want to leave dirty water in the group. I do the portafilter wiggle with the blank disk, leave the portafilter loose so it fills up with water and the water runs over the edgs, removes lots of loose coffee from the screen, after that come clean, usually twice, I backflush once. I use a small amount of detergent every 2 or 3 weeks, but rarely remove the shower screen, certainly not as often as I should. -- Ira -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Brewtus" group.
