Thanks everyone for the advice on getting my E61 gasket to install. Now onto the next question.
I go through about 2 pounds of coffee a week and back flush my machine every week. When I back flush I also remove the shower screen (and gasket of course). I find even after only one week, there is already coffee buildup on the edge of the shower screen. It washes off easily with a brush.
