Hey Herman--
I never followed up on the issue with my Jaeger and Chris Coffee.

I got a new Jaeger in July or so, and it started popping the over pressure
relief about every two weeks. At 90 days, it was doing it often enough that I
ordered a new mater from WLL. I also contacted Chris Coffee, and Chris said
the jaeger is only warranted for 30 days. I pointed out that the manufacturing
date was three years prior (on a part that relies on a flexible rubber
diaphragm) and he offered 20% off a new one and that was it.

I told him I was disappointed in the transaction and that I couldn't believe he
was defending a 90 day failure of a part. I have gotten no further
correspondence from him.

I guess I need to reconsider my choice of suppliers. I'm also reluctant to buy
another Jaeger after this experience, since I now have a $60 paperweight.
Anyone have ideas on how to possibly salvage this one?

best,
bmc
