Hoping that's all it was! I'd still replace the two high-limit switches, yours are clearly past their useful life. Especially with some "help" from your Allen wrench. :) If you've damaged it/them, and they fail to function, you can burn out your boiler element next. And get the excitement of the over pressure valve popping off on the steam boiler, which is always entertaining... best, bmc
