I fixed the brew group not heating up problem. The $50 brew head rebuild kit that WLL sold to me, did not solve it. But, it was very educational.
I checked my notes from my call to WLL. Before they sold the kit to me, someone suggested the problem might be the O ring under the mushroom. 1. I reopened the upper part of the brew group, : 2. I looked at the O ring. 3.I cleaned it and added a little Dow 111 food safe lube. It is working now, I really should replace that O-Ring at the bottom of the mushroom. Does anyone know what the size of the O-ring is? I don't regret spending the $50 for the kit. In the process I learned how to open & clean the brew group. It is much easier than I thought.
