Gents.... I return bearing good news, and also as a way to thank you all for
your rapid, in depth, and considerate input. i report back also to demystify
any future owners about this topic.

It turns out that Ira was right. What was the issue? There was no issue..."The
big take away is that the pump delivering 8 bar is standard here. During the
warm up period the boilers draw power away from the pump at that time so it
will register a bit lower until the boilers are at temp/pressure"

I am looking forward to be an overjoyed owner of a Brewtus, and hope to learn
its ins and outs, and give back to the community!
A final set of questions (happy to start new thread if that is the preferred
community discipline):
1) Tools needed: What is the minimal set of tools to have to maintain this
machine? I just have a variable wrench and a set of basic torque thing + wrench
tips. Do I need a multimeter? anything else thats not in a standard basic
toolbox?
2) Supplies needed: Have cafiza for monthly backflushes, anything else needed
on the cleaning consumables front? Any grease for the E61 lever, and if so how
often?
3) Water requirements: i live in NYC, soft water <50ppm. What is a relatively
safe water setup thats low cost? I dont want to buy single use plastic water
bottles for this, but open to filter or similar systems you guys used? plan to
stick to reservoir for now. I am lost between the filter pouches like BWT,
Brita or jug based systems, or just straight tap...Just want this baby to last
forever... haha
