| (1) I am talking to a coffee tech who is restoring a Brewtus III that I was hoping to buy - it already had a new vacuum breaker, new control board, rebuilt E61 grouphead installed, but was unable to build up past 8 bars brew pressure. The tech has now replaced the pump and OPV but it still has not solved the problem - the machine does not build pressure past 8 bars. Is there any other thing in the pressure path that could be causing this problem? Could it be the Aerator valve? And if so, how to check, confirm and fix the issue? ANY insights would be VERY welcome. You guys can take solace in the fact that this has a professional coffee tech stumped...I am posting here as a hail mary, as this unit is local to my city. |
Mine will not build pressure past 7 bar because I lowered the pressure regulator to 7 bar? Has anyone tried adjusting the pressure regulator?
